The flight was pretty pleasant - lovely
sights from the window seat. The city looks so green and beautiful; someday I
would like to visit the place together with the husband or maybe a bunch of
friends. It was a short one-hour flight so by the time I ate the breakfast and
tried to figure out what shapes the clouds were forming, we had already landed.
We passed through seas and islands. I thoroughly enjoyed the view and was staring open mouthed like a kid. We spotted a LOT of coconut trees from the sky – it felt like we were entering Kerala rather than Colombo. The food in the flight was weird but passable (Mental note to self: Take pictures of all the meals in the honeymoon).

The
security guy here asked what my purpose of travel is. I said honeymoon and with
a stern teacher like glare, he said “happy journey and a happy life too”. Yay to a happy life!!
